Dhal:  Good Ol’ Comfort Food


Dhal is a very popular Indian dish which basically consists of lentils that are cooked with tomatoes, onions and of course spices! It’s a warm comforting dish that was a staple in my home growing up. It’s easy to make and oh so delicious! It’s actually the first Indian dish I cooked all by myself as a kid. It’s one of those fabulous recipes where you can literally dump all of the ingredients in a pot to boil for 20 minutes and come back to a hearty healthy scrumptious dish.
