So my dad gave me a giant jar of peanut butter thanks to bulk CostCo purchases lol! Well I thought the best use of all that peanut butter would be to bake some cookies of course!!! I had chocolate chips on hand so I decided to throw some of those in too! You can't really go wrong with a chocolate and peanut butter combo! I made the batch this past weekend and had a few friends meet up at my place before we headed over to a Rams game here in LA. The cookies were devoured! Check out the recipe below! Happy baking my loves!

Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup creamy peanut butter, at room temperature
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 and 1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs, at room temperature
2 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Cream together the butter and peanut butter.
2. Add the vanilla, granulated sugar and light brown sugar to the butter mixture and continue to cream together.
3. Add in one egg at a time and continue to cream ingredients together.
4. In a separate bowl sift together flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
5. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet buttered mixture until fully combined.
6. Stir in chocolate chips.
7. Cover the cookie dough and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
8. Preheat oven to 350° .
9. Put tablespoon sized servings of cookie dough onto a lined baking sheet.
10. Bake cookies for 12-14 minutes. Leave cookies on sheet tray for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool for another 5 minutes.
